With a vertical, space-efficient design, the MB3600 optimizes laboratory workspace and facilitates access to internal components. The MB3600 contains fixed components that do not wear out with use, meaning no components to replace or adjust. With the MB3600, the source is operated so as to provide a 10-year expected lifetime and the HeNe LASER is replaced by a solid state laser to provide a 20-year expected lifetime. Built with heavy-duty modules and a permanently aligned optical system, the MB3600 does not require maintenance or adjustments for years to come. ABB offers a number of well thought-out accessories that are easily swappable. They do not require aligment.

- The temperature-controlled vial holder is a universal vial sampling accessory for the analysis of liquid in disposable glass vials with diameters of 5mm, 8mm and 12mm OD. It can be controlled from room temperature to 130℃.

- The rotating diffuse reflectance accessory is for soilds(powder, pellets and others). Using disposable 20ml glass sample bottle avoids cross contamination between samples. The glass bottle rotates during analysis providing representative sampling and reducing the effects of product heterogeneity.

- Liquid cell: standard optical path is 0.5mm (variable optical path 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm) including 100 Polypropylene sample syringes.

- Optical fiber probe accessory: Transmission, reflection, or diffuse probe, standard SMA905 optical fiber interface.
